During my teens, I was strict about my diet and fitness, but I was not seeing results. Like everyone else, through the endorsement of government, media, and even science, I believed I was eating healthy. But I couldn't seem to shed off that excess fat and struggled to see that elusive six pack. Despite all my best efforts, the last straw was when I found out my blood pressure was too high. After trial and error and extensive research amidst all the contradictory evidence, I packed on serious mass up to 215 lbs on my 5'10" frame. It was when I effortlessly burned off 40 lbs in 4 months that everything clicked together. After obtaining a NCAA-accredited certification in Personal Training, and now, at a lean 185 lbs in my mid-30s with perfect blood pressure, I've continued to help numerous people achieve their health and fitness goals through common sense nutrition and exercise, all backed up by science.
