About this site

The author and his son

Simple Science Fitness was created in 2012 by Joachim Lapiak. This site is maintained by the author, who ensures that the health and fitness content and tools are current, complete, and timeless.

The information on this site is designed for healthy adults regardless of age or gender. The content, including charts and visuals, are based on logical reasoning and empirical facts. This site was developed to help people reach their own health and fitness goals. Acquiring correct knowledge and putting it into practice will lead to successful results. Participants who attain high levels of fitness consistently maintain quality nutrition, exercise, and sleep under the umbrella of a disciplined lifestyle.

The author has accumulated close to two decades worth of health and fitness research and experience. He has also obtained an NCAA-accredited certification in Personal Training.

Joachim is a son (CODA), husband, and a father to a special needs child.
